It’s been a while since my last update—shortly after surgery—and I wanted to check in and share how things are going. This may seem silly to be happy about, but I am! This is tough for me…. My friends put this Go Fund Me together to help Michael Erwin and I cover some expenses. It’s very humbling to realize in a very real way that you can’t do all that you need to do by yourself. Hello friends! It’s been a couple of weeks and I wanted to give you all an update. Healing is slow going, but at least I’m sleeping which is a huge improvement. My pain is minimal and I feel like I finally have my mind back. More than anything, I’m grateful to be in my home with Michael & the kids ♥️ “A healthy person has a thousand wishes, but a sick person has only one.” 9 days is a really long time in hospital days. Too much time to sit and worry. Way too much time when you’re hurting and have nothing to distract you. Day Six Today is a pretty big day. I’d be grateful for any prayer and/or positive thought you can send my way. A few weeks ago I was telling Michael that I wanted a cat (probably his least favorite animal). I really laid it on thick, saying how awful it was to be stuck in bed so much, and how great it would be to cuddle with a cat.
